Childhood Cancer is the #1 Disease Killer of Children.

Neuroblastoma is the most common cancer in infancy.

Neuroblastoma is the most common extra cranial solid tumor cancer in children.

Every 16 hrs a child with neuroblastoma dies.

There is no known cure for neuroblastoma.

Nearly 70% of those children first diagnosed, have disease that has already metastasized or spread to other parts of the body. When disease has spread at diagnosis and a child is over the age of 2 there is a less than 30$ chance of survival.

Cancer accounts for the greatest number of disease deaths of children in the U.S. and kills more children per year than cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, astha and AIDS combined.

There is NO direct government funded research into neuroblastoma and drug companies only fund research into diseases that will make profitable returns for their share holders. Neuroblastoma is NOT one of those diseases!

Although the 5 year survival rate is steadily increasing, one quarter of children will die 5 years from the time of diagnosis.

One in 330 children will develop cancer by age 20.

Each school day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer.

Each child in the U.S. daignosed with cancer receives approx one-sixth of the federal research support allocated to each patient afflicted with AIDS.

Yet in 2004, 48 new cases of pediatric AIDS were diagnosed versus more than 12,000 pediatric cancer cases!
The National Cancer Institute's (NCI) federal budget was $4.6 billion....Of that....

Breast Cancer received 12%
Protate Cancer received 7%
All 12 major groups of pediatric cancers combined received less than 3%
